Silverwolf Records is proud to announce their new collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer and singer/songwriter Rachel Faro and her well-respected imprint Ashe Records.

We've launched this association with the re-release of Odetta's Beautiful Star (formerly Christmas Spirituals), in honor of the passing of this important artist, whom Martin Luther King called "The Queen of American Folk Music". This album is more than a Christmas album -- it's good all year 'round. The cover was designed by the distinguished African-American artist Coleen Patterson and the album, produced by Rachel Faro, features bassist Bill Lee (Spike Lee's dad) and percussionist Carol Steele.
Release date: May 14th

The second album released is "End Of The Sky" by the American Tibetan nun Lama Karma Chotso. This collection of Milarepa songs, Tibetan chants and original songs which came to Lama-la in dreams, is perfect for those both those familiar with Tibetan Buddhism and those who are simply seeking a peaceful musical environment. Also produced by Rachel Faro.
Release date: July 14th

Silverwolf is also proud to release "Windsong", an album of original songs produced and performed by Rachel Faro. Recorded over a period of twenty years, this album's time has come. Rachel's distinctive vocal style features lyrics inspired by Rachel's life experiences, international travels and spiritual studies, set in melodies and instrumentation influenced by country, Celtic, pop and Indian music. This recording features performances by Robben Ford, Steve Gorn, Jaime Haddad, Paul McCandless, Bill Douglas. Both those who are fans of her two John Simon-produced RCA albums and those who are new to Rachel's unique and beautiful style will enjoy this album.
